This romantic Antebellum Mansion was built in 1859 by John Johnson. Mr. Johnson was believed to be the most educated and elite man of his time. Many famous and influential people graced the presence of this most prestigious structure. The mansion is a wonder to behold with a grand dining room, Ball room, and a stately Greek conservatory. The structure touts’ large white columns with a spacious porch and a railed balcony from the upper level that overlooks the estate. Some of the outstanding features on the inside is to admire hand carved paneling cherry wooded doors with iron locks and brass knobs. The entrance welcomes you with a large foyer, high ceilings, and sweeping open stairways. The intriguing grounds surround the mansion making it a picture-perfect choice for your destination wedding! Whether an intimate Ball Room Ceremony or Grand Affair on the front lawn; the enchanting grounds surrounding this stately Antebellum Mansion makes for the most charming place to create the perfect isle for your nuptials. This becomes an etched memory for everyone in attendance for that most important walk.  

The wedding team will custom design your alter flowers from your personal color palette that will showcase your person flowers, ceremony and reception . Traditional flowers for each package are handtied and designed to each bride’s specification. These bouquets are designed with locally grown and in season flowers. Exotic and imported flowers are available on the al a carta menu.

100 quality invitations in white or ivory will be included in this package as well as our enclosure cards. Our signature calligraphy service for the first 100 invitations will be included as well as the assembly and mailing at the appropriate time. Our wedding team will track your RSVP cards and keep you abreast of your guests that will be attending your special day, to have an accurate count for your reception food. This will be made possible by the guest list that you will provide for us according to the determined timeline.

As an outdoor venue, we reserve the right to relocate indoors or a ceremony tent for inclement weather. A decision will be made seven hours prior to the ceremony.

Your reception will be on the lawn in a soft romantic draped tent or in an intimate gathering indoors.

Our traditional Wedding Cakes have seven flavors and a variety of icings. Your cake topper can include a floral bouquet of icing or bouquet fresh flowers which could carry the theme of the bridal bouquet.
